Happy Holidays!!

I heard from a couple of people that they did not recieve our Christmas card in the mail, so I decided to post it also. I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

Lily's First Haircut and Second B-Day!

December 13th Lily had her second birthday! We celebrated by getting her first haircut and then by having cake and ice cream with some of her cousins and grandparents. Lily was not sure about what was going on when getting her haircut but she did awesome. She loved her Mickey Mouse cake and had a great time playing with her cousins.

We also celebrated Lily's birthday a couple of days later with her play-group friends at one of her favorite places, Chuck-E-Cheese. She had a great time and was spoiled with presents from all of her friends.

Newport Beach!

September flew by!!! I cannot believe it is October and I have not had time to update our blog. Brian has been so busy with work that he could not come to Newport Beach with Lily and I in September. We missed him, but we our thankful his business is doing so well. So back to Newport Beach, Lily and I went with my family and had a blast. Lily and I flew by ourselves which was very stressful for me but Lily did great.

It was such nice weather that we were able to spend time at the pool as well as head to disneyland for a couple of days. Lily loved all the rides at disneyland but most of all she loved being with her cousins and all the treats!!

Labor Day.

Brian, Lily and I decided to take a last minute trip to Bear Lake for Labor Day weekend. We headed out on Thursday evening to try and beat the hoilday traffic and stayed until Saturday (and just missed the rain). We camped out in my parent's boat and had a great time just the three of us. Lily loved the boat and feeding all the fish at the dock.

McCall.

It is hard to come home from a fun vacation. We returned home a week ago and I am still adjusting. We had a great time in McCall this year (just like every year). My family has been vacationing in McCall, Idaho every summer for as long as I can remember and every year I cannot wait until we go. If you have never been, it is a beautiful small mountain town adjacent to Payette Lake. We spend our days relaxing on the dock, playing at the beach and in the water. Nights are spent playing games, roasting marshmallows, and watching movies. Lily had so much fun, every night she was exhausted from playing so hard. Most of Lily’s days included getting in every dirt or mud pile that was around and playing with all of her cousins. The week flew by and we already looking forward to next year!

SUMMER TIME FUN!

We have been playing alot this summer and loving every minute of it! The summer started out with a trip to Zions National Park for the Blatter family reunion. It was a quick trip for us but it was fun to see everyone and to do some hiking. Next was Bear Lake with some of the Lamb Family. Lily loves to play on the beach and in the lake but her favorite thing is to play in the mud. Burley, Idaho was our next destination to be the cheering team for some of my family (Kris, Kathi, Steve and Steven) competing in the Spudman triathlon. They all did a great job and inspired Brian to sign-up for next year. Lily and I bought season passes to Cherry Hill this summer so when we are in town we are at Cherry Hill or the pool by our home.

Lily loves to help Brian with just about everything. From the minute he comes home from work Lily will not leave his side until bedtime.
