Lily Update.

Lily has been a busy girl this fall. She started preschool and got to pick out a pumpkin at the Farmington pumpkin patch for her first field trip. Lily and her cousin Sally are the only girls in the class, but they don't seem to mind. She is also in a singing group. They are currently practicing Christmas songs for their program in December. Lily had surgery this past month to have her ear-tag removed (this is the third Blatter surgery this year and hopfully the last). She did awesome and is just waiting for the bandage to fall off!

FUN IN JULY!!

Our July has been a lot of fun. We celebrated the 4^th and 24^th of July with a parade, food, family and fireworks. I don’t think we could have wished for better weather for all the outdoor festivities.

We also vacationed in Bear Lake this month. The girls loved playing at the beach, swimming in the pool and taking rides on grandpa’s boat.

Brian got to be "King for the Day" for Father's Day, which included a crown decorated by Lily and roasting marshmallows for dessert.

Allie's First Birthday!!

Allie turns one today. We celebrated last night with family, a BIG chocolate cake, and balloons (so much fun)!

Lily's New Toy?

Brian somehow inherited a 50-motorcycle for Lily, but I am not sure who likes it more Lily or Brian. The two of them take rides around the neighborhood and have a blast!

Michael Buble and Brian's Birthday!!

Last week I finally got to use my Christmas present from Brian and go see Michael Buble in concert. After seeing him live I like him even more!! We had a great time and enjoyed Kris and Steven’s company also.


We also celebrated Brian’s Birthday last week. Brian’s Dad planned a party for him at Robintinos with his family. The party was a little crazy at times with all of his family and a couple of other parties in the same room, so we followed it up with our own Birthday party the next day with just the four of us.

Spring in Utah

You never know what to expect from spring weather in Utah. One day you are building a snowman, the next day it has melted and is 60 degrees. We had a great time playing in the snow but we are ready for more warm days!

FREE RIDE!

Last Friday you could ride free on TRAX, so we decided to take Lily and Allie on a train ride to the Gateway. Lily loved the train and could not stop talking about how fast we were going. When we made it to the Gateway we stopped to see the Olympic fountain which was playing the Olympic theme music from the Winter Olympics in SLC for the opening ceremonies that night (GO TEAM USA!). We also picked up a treat for the ride home, which Lily and Allie also loved.

Lily Loves......

Anything princesses (I think Cinderella is her favorite this week), horses, dancing, singing, and making Allie laugh. She also loves playing hide-and-go seek with her Dad and playing with her toys. Lately making my way around the house has become an obstacle course. Lily stacks her toys and other things on the floor, stairs, bed, well just about anywhere.
