Not So Happy Birthday.

It was Brian’s birthday on April 1st and I think it was officially the worst. Both Allie and Lily were up all night throwing-up, so Brian-to keep me from throwing-up as well-got up with the girls and cleaned everything several times. We had fun birthday plans that we have put on hold until everyone is feeling better. I know I have the best husband!

Spring Fever.

In-between all the snow it actually warmed up enough to go to the Zoo. We had a great time and can't wait for more Spring!

Allie Update.

Allie is a busy girl these days. She is learning to walk but still prefers to get around on her knees. She is learning new words everyday, her favorites this week are mine and please. It is hard as a mom not to give in when your little girl is hugging you and saying please. Allie loves to play with her big sister and just like Lily some of Allie's favorite things are princesses. Her favorite princess is Cinderella or LaLa as she calls her. She also loves to play ring-around-the-rosies and monkeys jumping on the bed.

Happy New Year.

We spent our Holiday sledding and warming up with hot chocolate afterwards. Lily and Allie loved sledding! I think we would have been on the hill all day if you did not have to walk back up.

We Love Christmas Time!

The Christmas Season always kicks off by cooking yummy treats with my mom and sisters on our annual Super Saturday. A few changes this year, we actually cooked at my house during the week while my mom is in Africa. We can't wait for next year when she will be home!

Brian decorated our new house with awesome lights this year.
Lily and I made cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. Lily made them extra special with tons of sprinkles.

While we made cookies Brian made his second annual Prime Rib for our Family Christmas Eve Party. It was sooo good.

After our fun Christmas Eve party we got to open one gift and read Christmas Stories.

Christmas morning the girls were so excited for their presents from Santa. They got princess barbies and a dollhouse for the barbies.

Party Number Two.

Along with the Princess Package at The Grand America Lily also had a party with family and of course a princess cake and balloons provided by Uncle Steven! (Yes, we know that she is spoiled).

Princess Birthday.

I am trying this month to catch-up on all the events and fun we have been having this winter and have not been blogging about. So hopefully this is the first of many posts to come.

Lily turned four in December (she is growing up too fast)! We (Lily, Sally, Kathi and I) celebrated by a Princess Package Getaway to The Grand America Hotel. The package included Princess Tiaras, Wands and Nightgowns, Manicures, and a Tea Party with Santa.

We were also suprised with chocolate dipped strawberries, slippers and other yumming treats in our room and the swimming pool all to ourselves.

I am not sure who had more fun the moms or the girls, but we do know that we want to do it again next year!
